Dinner and a Bible

“Dinner & a Bible”
Wednesday Nights at Celebration

Wednesday nights are family night at Celebration. It’s a night to recharge and reconnect with our church family and to study God’s Word together.

In our highly spiritualized culture, it’s easy to absorb wrong ideas about God—and then pass those wrong ideas or assumptions to our children and to others. Wrong ideas about God make the Bible confusing and hinders spiritual growth.

It is our desire to be a people who ‘worship God in spirit and in truth.’ True worship always combines heart and head, emotion and thought, affection and reflection, doxology and theology.

Truth without emotion produces dead orthodoxy and a church full of artificial admirers. Emotion without truth produces empty excitement and cultivates people who refuse the discipline of rigorous thought.
‘Dinner & a Bible’ is the place where we systematically study biblical doctrine in an interactive way. Each person then takes what they have learned and the resources provided to guide and enhance the conversations in the home.

Dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. The study begins at 6:45 p.m.

Everyone is invited!
